Thoofan Phase 2 Spl Gramasabha
Under the leadership of the Karumkulam Grama Panchayat, a special Gramasabha was held on Monday, 05/10/2026, at 11:00 AM at the Grama Panchayat Hall in the Karumkulam Grama Panchayat Office, as part of the Toofaan Phase-2 project. The meeting, led by the people's representatives of the Grama Panchayat, was attended by two Toofaan volunteers from each ward.
The meeting presented and discussed various topics, including existing drug-related issues at the ward level, social problems arising from substance abuse, and its consequences on youth and children. Discussions were held on necessary preventive measures and awareness programs to strengthen anti-drug activities and to organize community-driven initiatives at the ward level.
The meeting evaluated the necessity of coordinating anti-drug activities at the ward level with the active participation of Toofaan volunteers. It was also decided to take necessary follow-up actions with the cooperation of relevant authorities if any drug-related issues came to light. Subsequently, representatives from various wards presented drug-related issues and suggestions specific to their areas. Necessary directives were given to find possible solutions to these problems and to efficiently implement the activities of the Toofaan Phase-2 project. The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks to everyone who participated and cooperated.
